Here is my thought regarding Secret Invasion #8:

The first official act of the Marvel Universe’s President Barack Obama is to name Norman “The Green Goblin” Osborn the leader of the Avengers.

    Because I am developmentally stunted, America is like Atlantis to me, and I don’t really dig the Savage Dragon, so I was quite excited at the prospect of seeing SuperBarryO in a (big 2) superhero comic – in fact, isn’t the dialogue for the majority of this issue between him and Norman ‘Robert Gates of the MU’ Osborn? …I’m really disappointed with his decisions in the Marvel U thus far.

    The whole “pardons for fugitive felons” thing doesn’t seem to bother the real Obama enough to take his nominee for AG off the table, why should the promotion of a former convict who has been working for the government for some time now bother the fake one?
