The Pissed

SEMI-QUASI-SPOILER WARNING FOR THE MIST. What I’m about to say isn’t itself a spoiler, it’s more like a clue that could lead you to intuit a spoiler. But I would still heartily recommend that you DON’T READ ANY FURTHER if you haven’t seen The Mist.

Okay, right. Now then.

Is it too much to ask that when a movie adaptation of a book changes the book’s ending in some top-secret fashion, they don’t SPOIL THE FUCKING NEW ENDING IN THE FUCKING COMMERCIALS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

“I found her oddly sexy, though. I actually think this was a deliberate move on the movie’s part–as time passes and she exerts more influence on the survivors, her hair comes down and her behavior gets more and more passionate.”

This actually fits in with a usual King MO, too. Remember Sylvia Pittson (was that her name?) from Tull in the first DARK TOWER book? She’s described as monstrously obese, but all the same holds a weird sexual lure for both the Man in Black and Roland himself, perhaps because of the passion of her mania.

Nothing more to add, just that little thing stuck out to me.

Whoops, wrong post to put that on. Sorry.

    Good point even so!
