so freaking awesome
Legends are the ones where you forget they’re mortal– I assumed he’d be around forever. Partly because he seemed to have mastered some sort of zen work ethic, achieving a Tezuka extreme of straight-to-ink penmanship & perpetual productivity. Been reading him since I first plundered mom’s Heavy Metal as a tot, and I’ll probably be bidding on random bar napkin scribbles of his @ Sotheby’s in my dotage. A legend.
P.S.: The Goddess bent my ****ing mind. The finale was prog rock with a pen.
