Red = John Locke
Orange = Charles Widmore
Yellow = Benjamin Linus
Green = James “Sawyer” Ford
Blue = Jack Shepherd
Indigo = Kate Austen
Violet = Desmond Hume & Penelope Widmore
Black Lantern Avatar = Christian Shepherd
Black Lantern Guardian = The Man in Black
Fan-tastic.
I think I’d move Locke to Blue, given his whole unflappable belief thing. You could certainly slot Ana Lucia or even Sayid into the Red spot.
I’d also put Hurley at Indigo, since the guy generally sees the best in everybody and seems to possess great empathy.
Hey, I did the same thing, but I used colors:
Red = red
Orange = orange
Yellow = yellow
Green = green
Blue = blue
Indigo = indigo
Violet = burnt sienna
Black Lantern Avatar = black
Black Lantern Guardian = black
Oh, CRwM.
I’m not sure I understand Kate as an avatar of compassion. Can you elaborate?
I was thinking of how she raised Aaron, she’s trying to find Claire to reunite them, she sacrificed her freedom to try to protect her mom from her abusive stepdad, that sort of thing.
Fair enough. I see compassion as a matter of comforting the afflicted and downtrodden, so I’ll grant raising Aaron. But compassion isn’t just doing the right thing, or even just self-sacrifice. I’m reluctant to call killing compassion, however noble the motives.
