Tiny li’l carnival of souls

* I have a few more entries in Comic Book Resources’ Top 100 Comics of 2009 countdown today: Anders Nilsen’s Big Questions (#70), Grant Morrison etc.’s Final Crisis (#61), and Josh Simmons’s Cockbone (#53).

* I don’t know what to call what it is that Matt Maxwell does, but he’s the best there is at it, and now he’s doing it about His Comics Decade.

* I tried to buy Avatar tickets today and almost did but for discovering that in two of the three IMAX theaters available in NYC, the “IMAX” label is utter hogwash. That is some serious bullroar right there, man.

    I hate that IMAX nonsense. I’ll probably wait for a few weeks so I can go to the Lincoln Square IMAX without having to fight the huge crowds for a good seat.
