Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the Shire

J.R.R. Tolkien’s publisher and charitable trust are suing New Line Cinema for non-payment of film revenues. Coming on the heels of similar lawsuits from Peter Jackson & company and the films’ actors, this can’t reflect well on the mini-studio as its parent company Time Warner decides what to do with it.
