The self-same financial catastrophe that beset Top Shelf, Drawn & Quarterly, and Fantagraphics over the past couple of years has finally dropped the hammer on the fourth leg of the North American altcomix table, Jeff Mason’s Alternative Comics. The details are here. The good news is that, as with the aforementioned publishers, Alternative’s got plenty of wonderful comics to read, so coming to their aid financially is a win-win situation.
