Carnival of souls

* Frank Santoro on webcomics, pacing, serialization, building an audience, generating a conversation, et cetera. Worth reading if you care about any of those things.

* What the heck is Josh Cotter up to?

* Bourne writer Tony Gilroy is now Bourne director Tony Gilroy. I liked the Bourne movies quite a bit.

* Hey look, here’s what the new guy playing Pinhead in the new Hellraiser sequel I won’t be seeing will look like.

The two movies Tony Gilroy directed are worth checking out, if you haven’t:

Michael Clayton is a very sharp, unconventional take on Grisham-thriller material and Duplicity is the best “Hollywood” romantic comedy of the last decade.

  2. Tim O'Neil says:

I think we both know without me needing to say it that even if you don’t see this one I will, simply because I am constitutionally unable to leave Hellraiser films unseen, even though a wise man would have given up with IV.

It can’t – can not under any circumstances – be worse than Hellworld, so there’s least a floor below it will not sink.

That new Pinhead looks like one of the Kipper Kids. Maybe this is really a “reimagining” of Forbidden Zone:
