I think it was appropriate that he spent most of that episode wearing a turtleneck, because I imagine that’s the article of clothing his music is the equivalent of.

I was also halfheartedly hoping that it would be Serena who confronted Lily over her secret and then Lily responded with “I killed somebody” and the crazy music kicks in before Serena cuts her off and says, “Uh…no, that was me.”
Complete with “needle being pulled off the record” sound effect, I’d hope!
